A man has been charged in connection with a theft at a business in the east end.
Metro police were called to the shop on Torbay Road around 7 p.m.
Security at the store were able to detain the 36-year-old suspect until police arrived.
He was arrested and charged with robbery with violence and breach of probation.
He was held for court.
