The Irish Descendants are tuning up the strings as they take their Christmas show on the road both at home and abroad.
The band, in its 35th year, has been spreading Christmas cheer through music for many years.
Frontman Con O’Brien says they’re going to open on the road in Alberta and Saskatchewan before making their way to Newfoundland and Labrador.
The first two shows on the island are in Carbonear Dec. 2nd and 3rd, then to the west coast, up to Labrador and to the Maritimes for five shows. The band then returns to Newfoundland before doing a show in Ottawa.
There is a chance to win tickets by heading here.
