The RCMP is seeking the public’s help in an investigation into the theft of a flatbed trailer and snow clearing equipment from Riverbend Transportation in Clarenville.
An 18-foot N&N Remorque galvanized equipment hauler owned by Riverhead Transportation on Myers Avenue was removed by a white Chevy Silverado 2500 pickup around 1:45 on the morning of Monday, November 17th.
Police say the suspects also stole a snowplow blade attachment and a salt/sand spreader unit that were strapped to wooden pallets.
The suspect vehicle was last seen heading eastbound on the Trans Canada towards St. John’s.
The stolen trailer was located by police the following day on the TCH near Paddy’s Pond.
The plow blade and spreader are still missing.
