An additional batch of services will be up and running at the new mini-hospital in the old Costco building on Stavanger Drive next week.
Ultrasound, blood collection, outpatient physiotherapy, occupational therapy and the new integrated pain clinic are among the areas which will move to Stavanger as of Tuesday.
Dr. Greg Browne, the clinical lead for Health-Care Infrastructure with NL Health Services, says the pain clinic is something new for NLHS.
It will allow therapies such as infusions and interventions for chronic pain to be done in one place.
“So what it means is greater access to diagnostics and therapeutic services on a convenient, bright space,” says Dr. Browne.
