Newfoundland and Labrador’s film and television sector has achieved a major milestone.
PictureNL says more than $1 billion in production activity has taken place since the agency, formerly the Newfoundland and Labrador Film Development Corporation, launched in 1997.
The Crown corporation will mark the achievement with a celebration at the Jag Soundhouse December 17th, complete with a red carpet event starting at 8 p.m.
Guests will include Allan Hawco, Mary Walsh, Mark Critch, and a long list of local creators and industry partners.
