Canada stays near perfect thanks to an overtime win against Latvia last night at the World Junior Hockey Championships in Minnesota.
Canada held the lead for the majority of the 2nd and 3rd periods, but Latvia scored late in the game to send it to overtime.
Michael Hage from Toronto scored the game-winner in the fourth period after Latvia’s Roberts Naudins put the puck over the glass to give Canada the power play.
The U-20 squad will play again tomorrow night at 10:00 p.m. island time against Denmark.
