A resident of Conception Bay North is speaking out about criminal activity that targeted her own family over the Christmas holiday.

One man is facing charges in connection with a bold, daylight break-in and robbery at her father’s home in Salmon Cove that was caught on surveillance camera.

A second man was also seen on video driving an ATV that dropped the accused off and picked him up.

Cassie Kelloway says she and others are frustrated because everyone knows who’s behind a series of break-ins in the region, yet the criminal activity continues.

She says people are getting so fed up, she’s afraid someone will take matters into their own hands.

“People are talking and stating that ‘they come on my property…I’ll take care of them,'” says Kelloway. “And that’s what we’re afraid of…they’re going to get themselves into trouble and the last thing that we need is any of that happening.”
