Opposition leader Pierre Poilievre passed a major test last night and will stay on as leader of the federal Conservatives.
The vote happened in Calgary, where 87 per cent of voters thought he should remain as leader of the party.
Poilievre told Conservative supporters that the convention’s theme was hope, and he promised not to give up.
He also asked supporters to give him another shot, nearly nine months after the MP lost his Ottawa-area seat and the April election to the Liberals.
