A south coast man is Set for Life after winning big on a Scratch’N Win ticket.
Corven McDonald of Hermitage says he’s been buying lottery tickets for more than 30 years, and always dreamed of winning.
He works a seasonal job and says “you don’t know one year to the next if you’re going to get enough work or not.” Now, that’s no longer an issue.
McDonald chose the $675,000 lump sum payment.
He’s planning to pay off his vehicle, purchase a new truck for his brother and complete a few renovations on his house, but otherwise, he doesn’t expect the money to change who he is or how he lives.
He purchased the winning ticket at J&D Convenience in Harbour Breton.
