A 35-year-old man will appear in court today after he was arrested on outstanding warrants in Mount Pearl last night.
Just after 5:30 p.m. the RNC say they attempted to pull the man over on Old Placentia Road, but the vehicle did not stop. The pursuit was quickly ended due to public safety concerns.
The vehicle was located a short time later at a home in the area.
The man said to be driving is now facing charges of flight from police, dangerous operation, driving while prohibited, and breach of probation.
He was held for court.
