The past year was another strong one for St. John’s-based Fortis, the utility says.
Annual net earnings were $1.7-billion, or $3.53 per share, up from $3.28 for the year 2024.
David Hutchens, President and CEO, notes that net earnings last year were up by $151-million over the previous year.
He says their strategy remains clear: to deliver safe, reliable and affordable energy today while investing responsibly.
