A 21-year-old Sheshatshiu man has a future court date following an incident at a home in the town over the weekend.
The RCMP were called to the home on Matshateau Street just before 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning to reports of two unwanted people inside.
One person, a 21-year-old man, was arrested. Police accuse him of resisting arresting and assaulting an officer in the process.
The man will appear in court again on April 9th on charges of assaulting a police officer – two counts, resisting or obstructing a police officer, and mischief – obstructing the enjoyment of a property.
