The RNC has lifted a shelter-in-place advisory that had been issued for part of Kenmount Terrace in St. John’s.
The advisory had been in effect for residents of Ann Harvey Place, Sir Wilfred Grenfell Street, Cape Norman Street, Orlando Place and Henry Larsen Street off Great Eastern Avenue. Residents were asked to remain indoors and keep windows and doors closed and locked. Police also requested that photos and video of operations not be shared on social media for officer safety.
Police say two men and one woman were taken into custody without incident.
Residents can now resume normal activities. Police thank the public for their co-operation and say further information will be released as it becomes available.
