The Junior Achievement of Newfoundland and Labrador has announced the 2026 Business Hall of Fame inductees, with John Steele and his late mother Catherine Steele among those being recognized.
John Steele, CEO of Long Play Capital and Steele Hotels, as well as former president of Steele Communications, joins a list of business leaders who shaped the province. His late mother, Catherine Steele, who played a pivotal role in Steele Hotels with her husband Harry Steele, will be honoured posthumously.
Other inductees include Brian Chafe, CEO of De Havilland Canada and former CEO of Pal Aerospace, and Regina and Mark McCarthy of McCarthy’s Party.
The induction gala takes place May 21st.
