There were no injuries following an overnight house fire on Mundy Pond Road in St. John’s.
The homeowner managed to escape the property unharmed.
The RNC says the blaze resulted in the precautionary evacuation of nearby homes.
The blaze caused heat damage to at least one neighbouring property.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
