Mother Nature will be throwing everything but the kitchen sink at the island today.
There will be everything from snow, ice pellets to rain for pretty much the entire island.
Meteorologist Justin Boudreau says the latest system is a dog’s breakfast.
A winter storm warning is out for parts of the west coast, central, northeast coast and Northern Peninsula with snowfall amounts ranging from 15 to 30 cm.
Rainfall warnings are out for the south and southwestern portion of the island with upwards of 50 mm in the offing.
The Avalon will be sitting the brunt of this one out with freezing rain transitioning to showers as the temperature climbs above the freezing mark.
Temperatures over the next day or so will swing back and forth between near-double digits to below zero.
