Deer Lake RCMP had some good news to share recently as they recorded no infractions as part of a National Impaired Driving Week initiative.
On Wednesday, police set up a checkpoint on Upper Nicholsville Road and at least 80 vehicles were checked. That’s in addition to other patrols and stops that were conducted along the Great Northern Peninsula Highway.
Police say not only was every driver sober, but they all had the right documentation to boot.
