Newfoundland and Labrador Housing is building three new apartments in the centre of St. John’s.
An RFP has been issued for the construction of one building on Hoyles Avenue, which will include three apartments.
The build will include a one bedroom apartment, which will be 700 square feet, and two studio-style apartments that will be between 450 and 500 square feet.
The units will support people who are experiencing homelessness.
NLHC is receiving $458,000 in federal money, through End Homelessness St. John’s, for the project.
The RFP process is open until April 16th.
