The City of Corner Brook is expanding its transit service next Wednesday.

On-demand transit will now be available weekdays between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., giving riders greater flexibility to get to where they need to go later in the evening. That service will operate from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekends.

To book a trip, users must download a mobile app or call 709-289-3124.

The fixed-route service, which operates 9:00 to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, will undergo changes later this year. The city has already added two new, fully-accessible buses to the fleet.

Corner Brook says it is committed to a faster, more efficient, and more accessible public transportation system.

Transit fees have not changed.
