RCMP are investigating the cause of a crash between two commercial vehicles on the Trans-Canada Highway near Goobies earlier today.

The collision, between a transport truck and a snow plow, happened around 9:00 a.m. and resulted in the truck ending up on its side in the ditch.

There were no injuries reported to police.

Traffic in the area was slowed while crews worked to recover the truck.

Clarenville RCMP are hoping to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who has dash cam footage of the incident.

RCMP ask drivers to be patient and to stay well back of snow plows and snow clearing equipment. They advise that passing a snow plow can be dangerous.
