Former long-time talk show host Paddy Daly has gone into the backrooms of Confederation Building.
According to AllNewfoundland, the former VOCM Open Line host has been hired as an engagement and policy consultant with the Cabinet Secretariat.
That’s a division of government that provides non-partisan policy advice and support to the premier and cabinet.
Cabinet and its committees are composed solely of ministers, who serve at pleasure of the premier.
Daly abruptly resigned from his talk show duties in January, indicating at the time that he had nothing lined up.
