The Public Utilities Board has made yet another change to the regulated price of fuel as it tries to keep up with wildly fluctuating oil prices caused by the war in Iran.
The regulated price of gas dropped by one cent a litre last night.
On Thursday it rose by 7 cents after dropping 10 cents on Wednesday, and rising by nearly 8 cents the day before that.
Diesel is down by up to 12.6 cents a litre on the island while other fuels also cost less. A full breakdown can be found below.
• all types of gasoline motor fuel decrease by up to 1.0 cents per litre
• diesel motor fuel on the Island decrease by up to 12.6 cpl
• diesel motor fuel in Zones 13 and 13a in Labrador decrease by 12.8 cpl
• furnace oil heating fuel on the Island decrease by 10.94 cpl
• stove oil heating fuel in Zones 13 and 13a in Labrador decrease by 11.17 cpl
• propane heating fuel decrease by 1.7 cpl.
