Diesel and heating fuel costs a lot more today after the Public Utilities Board intervened with an off-schedule price change.
Diesel on the island and in Lab City-Wabush and Churchill Falls goes up by about 10 cents, however the rest of Labrador has been spared.
Furnace oil and heating fuel on the island and in Lab City-Wabush and Churchill Falls also goes up – by about 9 cents, but not in the rest of Labrador.
The price of gas remains unchanged.
The board has been jumping in at unscheduled times for a few weeks as markets continue changing due to the war in Iran.
