RCMP are investigating the theft of NHL memorabilia from a hardware store in Bay Roberts last week.
Police say the theft occurred around 9:30 Thursday evening.
A surveillance camera caught images of a person breaking glass at the front of the store and removing a Darryl Sittler plaque.
The suspect, whose face was covered, was wearing a toque, a grey sweater, blue jeans and brown boots.
Sittler, a hall of famer, is one of the top players in the history of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP (at 709-596-5014) or Crime Stoppers.
