A former cabinet minister who served under Danny Williams and Kathy Dunderdale has been elected as the new chair of the Gander International Airport Authority’s board of directors.

Susan Sullivan succeeds Gene Hedges who served in the position from 2024 to 2026.

Sullivan has already served five years on the Gander International Airport Authority’s board, the last three as chair of the governance committee.

She says she’s looking forward to working with the board and management to held build on the airport’s strength and keep moving it forward.
