The RNC police dog chased down a couple of suspected robbers in the centre city area early last night.
Officers were patrolling the area shortly after the robbery around 6:00 when they spotted two dodgy-looking characters. Police ordered them to halt but the two men took off on foot. The K-9 caught up with the pair, ages 23 and 24.
Each has been charged with robbery, resisting arrest and breaches.
