Workers employed by the Registered Nurses’ Union of Newfoundland and Labrador are on strike.
It’s a rarity in the world of organized labour when a bargaining group experiences a strike by its own office staff, but it does happen.
A dozen or so people with picket signs are milling about the RNU property on Major’s Path, but there is no indication of what prompted the work stoppage.
The employees are represented by NAPE.
