A man who was driving erratically through the city of Mount Pearl is in even more trouble after officers noticed a set of brass knuckles sitting in the vehicle.

RNC patrolling the area of Smallwood Drive flashed the lights on the car around 1:45 yesterday afternoon.

As the officer was speaking with the man, he noticed the brass knuckles.

The 51-year-old was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon, possession of a prohibited weapon, and breach of a firearm prohibition order.

He was also ticketed for driving without the proper credentials.
