A man has been slapped with a whole host of charges and fines after two hit and run collisions in the capital city last night.
Police were first called to the west end around 9:30, and received another call about 40 minutes later about a second crash involving the same vehicle on the same street.
The vehicle involved was still at the scene, however the driver had fled.
Following a search of the area, the 37-year-old man was located and taken into custody.
He faces charges of impaired, dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
He was also ticketed for various offences such as driving without the valid credentials and having open alcohol inside the vehicle.
