Government says cuts were made in the pavement to slow traffic through the construction zone, and those cuts have now been filled in.
The site has been temporarily shut down while the contractor figures out an alternate way to continue operations and protect workers.
Government says there will be an increased RCMP presence in the area, and drivers are being reminded to slow down.
