The pilot of an Air Canada flight operated by PAL Airlines was taken to hospital after suffering a medical emergency mid-flight.
The aircraft, which had 61 passengers on board, was en route to Halifax from Newark yesterday afternoon.
The first officer was able to take over and the plane safely landed at Boston Logan around 1:40 local time.
In a statement to VOCM News, Massachusetts State Police say the pilot was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The passengers were rebooked on other flights.
