One man is dead after a motor vehicle collision near Hillview.
RCMP are investigating the incident that shut down the TCH yesterday for several hours.
The collision happened between an SUV and a commercial tractor trailer unit at around 6:40 that morning.
The victim, a 76-year-old man, was brought to the hospital in critical condition where he later succumbed to his injuries.
RCMP thank the public for their patience during the highway closure. Debris was cleared from the road, including spilled hazardous fluid, and police brought in a Collision Reconstructionist to aid with the investigation.
