Emergency responders rescued a woman who fell into a brook along a remote trail near Long Harbour over the weekend.
RCMP got a call just after 1 p.m. Sunday about a woman who had fallen into a brook and may have broken her leg.
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans and the Burin Peninsula Ground Search and Rescue were called to assist.
Good Samaritans and police officers helped get her to a nearby road to wait for paramedics to arrive.
She was taken to hospital for treatment.
