Cries of “play ball” will ring a little louder throughout the land tomorrow as it’s the 5th annual Baseball Day in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Events are scheduled throughout the metro region and beyond, so that kids can play “the old ball game” and celebrate the fun of it.

Ryan Garland, the executive director of Baseball NL, says there are numerous events on the go with Baseball Day including the senior provincials at St. Pat’s, a U9 jamboree in Mount Pearl and CBS, and the women’s training camp in metro.

Even if the weather does not cooperate, there will be many activities on the go.
