RCMP in Harbour Grace arrested a 20-year-old wanted man following a brief foot chase in Carbonear.
Police were notified after the man, who was wanted on charges of assault and theft, was spotted on Industrial Crescent in Carbonear around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers found Brady Felix Power, who refused to obey their commands and tried to make a run for it.
He was taken into custody following a struggle and was held to appear in court where he faces an additional charge of resisting arrest.
