Health Canada has issued a recall on nearly 7,000 walking pads sold in this country over the last year or so.
Anyone who has purchased a PowerG Walking Pad from Canadian Tire since January 2025 should stop using the product immediately due to electrical concerns.
Health Canada says there had been no serious incidents or injuries reported as of August 10.
Anyone who has one of the pads should contact Canadian Tire for a refund.
