Two people have been charged following an incident at a bank in Stephenville on Thursday.
RCMP were called to the bank just after 11 a.m. after an employee reported that two people were trying to force a third customer from the building against their will.
The two suspects fled the scene before police arrived, but the victim was able to provide names and descriptions.
A man and a woman, each 34, were arrested a short time later and charged with assault.
They will appear in court in October.
