A man who tried to hide out at the scene of the crime in downtown St. John’s has been arrested by the RNC.
Police were flagged down by a person around 1:30 this morning, who told officers that somebody was breaking into vehicles in the nearby parking garage. The RNC found the 26-year-old inside a car.
He spent the night in the slammer and will be formally charged with property damage and breaching a release order.
