The Department of Health and Community Services has opened up the application process for their community addictions prevention and mental health promotion grant program.

Grants of up to $10,000 are available through the program for people, community groups, and non-profits that focus on those issues.

Specifically, they will be looking for projects that focus on suicide prevention, life promotion, prevention of the harms related to alcohol and substance use, and community partnerships to promise positive mental health.

The deadline for applications is October 24th.
