Police didn’t find the person they went out to look for but didn’t come away empty handed during a search in Cowan Heights last night.
Officers on patrol flashed the lights on a motorcycle in the area just after 9:00, but the driver refused to stop.
The machine was later found abandoned in the woods. During a search for the driver, RNC hauled over an unrelated vehicle and arrested a man who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
The 30-year-old was held for court. There’s no update on the search for the motorcycle driver.
