Premier Tony Wakeham recently met with Chambers of Commerce from across the country to discuss their efforts to strengthen the country’s economy.

The Chambers of the Federation is a relatively new group. Formed in 2025, it is made up of Chamber CEOs from all over Canada.

In a statement to VOCM News, the Premier’s Office says during the meeting Wakeham highlighted the new Churchill Falls deal, the establishment of a Red Tape Reduction Office, and the ongoing “Team Canada” collaboration happening with the other premiers and the Prime Minister.
