A new aspect to this year’s MusicNL week festivities is an event solely focused on artists in the LGBTQ+ community.
A “Queer Brunch” takes place at the Sheraton Hotel at noon today.
Executive director Tamara Kater calls Queer culture a “foundational and integral part of who we are,” and they wanted to “shine a spotlight on that.”
She says the event is something they have never done before and they are proud to be able to put it off.
