A man who had a bit too much to drink has been charged after causing damage to a property in the centre city.

RNC was called about an intoxicated man milling about around 7:15 yesterday morning.

The man, who had smashed a window, was arrested at the scene.

The 24-year-old was taken to the lockup on a charge of property damage.
