Students in the province’s K-12 school system may be back in the classroom today, but for many post-secondary students, the remote learning will continue for now.
Memorial University is reporting a spike in registration this year even though most in-class learning will not resume this fall.

He says this year, the fall semester will be very different.
All lectures will be delivered remotely—even labs—and a large portion of MUN’s residence will be closed, while other portions will be open with reduced capacity for students who absolutely need it.
That is causing problems for students without reliable high-speed internet.
