There were no injuries in a fire that destroyed a residential garage in Paradise yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.

Fire crews raced to a home on Summit Drive off St. Thomas’ Line shortly after 4:00 p.m. The detached garage was engulfed with plumes of smoke visible from a great distance.

The nearby home sustained some damage as heat from the fire melted some of its siding. However, the fire was limited to the garage.

The cause of the fire is not immediately known.
