A couple of fishermen had to abandon their boat off Torbay yesterday. The waters were choppy when a fire broke out aboard the 28-foot longliner Sammy O.
A boat nearby picked up the two men. Owner Wayne Tapper says he and his deckhand are okay, however, the boat sank.
Fishery lobbyist Ryan Cleary tweeted out the video.
