Police in western Newfoundland are giving drivers a heads up that there will be checkpoints in the region in the coming days.
It’s part of an initiative that includes regular patrols and traffic checkpoints that will run until December 1st.
RCMP say the initiative will cover all aspects of road safety but will focus on ensuring proper vehicle insurance and registration, as well as ensuring the overall safety of each vehicle.
