Eastern Health says it is disturbed by an incident last week that had the potential to seriously injure their employees and members of the public.

Last Thursday evening someone threw a brick at an Eastern Health ambulance responding to a 911 call.

The brick smashed the front windshield of the vehicle which had its lights and siren activated at the time.

Eastern Health says it does not accept or tolerate violent or abusive behaviour of any kind towards its employees.
