A PC MHA is remembering a volunteer who played what he says was an essential role within the party.
Lloyd Parrott was remarking on the recent loss of Augusta Whelan, a party volunteer from Placentia.
Whelan passed away on Tuesday at the age of 77.
Parrott says Whelan was involved with the PC Party for many decades. He says she was always counted on within the party, even at their lowest ebb.
He says Augusta Whelan is a fine example of an important asset to any politician.
Two former elected members of the party passed last week, former cabinet ministers Jim Morgan and Glenn Greening.
