The members of Rum Ragged have quite a story to tell after thick fog grounded them in Labrador.
The poor weather ground air transportation on the coast of Labrador to a complete halt for days, stranding the band after a show in Nain.
Mark Manning calls the Labrador people and geography “unbelievable”. He says it defies description, and must be seen to be appreciated.
He admits though it was tough, because their shows are their bread and butter and they had to cancel a number of gigs. While inconvenient to the band members, he says it’s remarkable that people on the coast have resigned themselves to live with the delays.
